Hook: size 8 2X long (this is Mustad 9672)
Tail: Olive Marabou over Krystal Flash (5 strands of flash)
Body:Peacock Olive Antron Chenille Medium
Hackle: Grizzly, dyed light olive
Rib: red wire

"Steaming" hackles

Since most of the swap flies will likely be crunched in the mail, one easy trick to restore hackles is to steam the fly over a kettle.
Works great for some types of hair wings as well.

Frenchie, these would be a killer patten for

early summer runs on the Rogue.

Interesting how some patterns are 'consistent,' then go dead as a doornail.

That's when you'd shift to these.
