Welcome to FlyTalk 2.0!

It's going to take a while to get things set up, but rather than continue backroom testing consider yourselves part of the live testing team! ;-)

Although it was a pain being down for so long, I have to count my blessings -

- old messages came thru
- no server errors
- more functionality
- database-driven

most importantly, you are back reading this!

thanks for your patience and I hope we get things tweaked to perfection ASAP.

regards,
Juro

I think that "Premium" stuff is based on number of posts made... so post away! ;-)

Jim Whalen reported a problem where you can't modify your own post because it is thought to be anonymous. I have seen it too. I think we should all login before posting to avoid that. When a post attempt only asks for your name and email, go login first to avoid creating those 'not really you' messages. I will go find out how to shut off anonymous posting.

I like the Board. Great work.

I will be in Orleans from Sunday night through late Tuesday doing a little scouting if anyone is interested.

The board looks good from the Sunny west coast of British Columbia.
One minor thing that I see , is the clock out of sinc as your coast should be GMT minus 5HR. as I am GMT minus 8HR on the west coast.

Juro...My garage is a BIG FAT mess! There is a motion sensor on the light switch...Every now and then I'll wonder into an obscure corner and get distracted by some triviality and the lights will go out leaving me in total darkness...blind and in the middle of a formidable obstacle course.
When FlyTalk went down, it was just like the lights going out. I'm REALLY GLAD it's up and running! and I THANK YOU for turning the lights back on!
Cheers

Winter has had her way with me...Finally, I've been able to get out in the backyard for some casting therapy...I did not know my neighbors had a concern until I returned from work this evening...As I rode my donorcycle past my parked pick-up I saw a big yellow note on the windscreen...It said, in big block letters, something that might pertain to many...simple, to the point and sincere (I can only suspect)..
IF YOU WANT TO CATCH A FISH YOU NEED TO BE CLOSER TO THE WATER!
To whom it may concern, ThankYou and tight lines!
