And skinny line with big guides!

Who am I kidding? I would love to go catfishing with a chunk o' sausage on the end with a line wrapped around a coke can right now!

At least it's warm enough to put the rod in the truck, I can get some casting practice in a field between chores and if I can get to a river do some funny two-handed whippy stuff with the super long rod so it feels like I am doing something.

Come on May!

Had to break the skim ice at the ramp with the boat Sunday morning on the local lake. I decided it was still too early to winterize it:hehe:

Hyper-Evolution at work...

...Darwin discovered early on that "successful" fishermen quickly and mysteriously developed BIG HANDZ in order to better hold and control BIG PHISH!
If your handz are TOO SMALL...Don't just would'a could'a should'a...get out there and strech a line!

OK with the hands...

What I REALLY want to know is what Penguin is snacking on in that first shot?

That's his signature pose of course. He eats like a fish, he thinks like a fish.

EvolutionaryEvidence...

Despite being "Digitally Challenged" and slightly handicapped, Darwins' suppositions regarding BigHandz are obvious to the most casual observer...

At least you can't accuse me of being "all thumbs"...
The altered digit is, in fact, BIONIC...and Phish Phriendly!
I don't need no stinkin' Boga!
...and YES, I CAN park in places reserved for the handicapped...

Pete -

Thats and awesome pic with the tide current sweeping over the bar and a feisty one before release... I guess this feeling of deprivation makes us all appreciate it more when it returns!

Sorry for the image size - tried to shrink it.

That was a "crappy" day, fog, "screaming" fish....

Look to use the long wand much more this coming season.

Happy hollidays!

Roop
