Love it! No high tech equipment on that boat and they still get the job done. No poling platform. Did you check out the Loomis graphite push pole?
They do keep it simple.

Awesome GregO! Makes me feel like I and sitting on the deck. Those flats look like a sightfishing situation I'd love to try.

Is this flat best on the flood?

Ray, Those boats ("Pangas") are great, 20' but only about 4.5' of beam! They draft only a couple of inches. Those guys can do an incredible amount of manuvering with the pole, even in wind & current! Also, they're pretty stable in a chop!

Juro, I think we actually had Astronomical Lows, but the total range is only a couple of feet. Also, they have a mixed, almost Diurnal Tide (i.e., one high & low per day!).

John, no definate plans, but sure I'd go again, just say the word!!!!!!!
