So... where were we?

In addition to the experienced testimonials from Belize, we rewarded a ghost tip 444 line to member Kevin O'Connor and his entourage of mad anglers - who left this very morning for Eleuthera, Bahamas for a repeat performance of their maiden voyage last year (read about it <!--http--><a href="http://www.flyfishingforum.com/articles/bonetravelers/index.htm" target="_blank">HERE</a><!--url-->)

They'll be back with plenty of time to let you know what they thought of that new line design.

That clear monic floater sounds like the ticket though...

ok gang, Juro had to close the other thread, due to a server trouble yesterday. I've got another question... what kind of booties wading shoes should I get? it'll be nice to have em for wet wading up here as well.oh yeah... flies??? greg clued me in on some bonefish ones, but how about permit and tarpon flies??? Tom D

As I understand it from Mary's post earlier, Ambergeris Cay is muddy bottomed and you might not be doing too much wading? Nonetheless there are several good flats boots on the market. I would opt for something that has a full gusset and high tops so you can seal them off with gaitors in New England.

Tom,

A friend went to Belize last year, and he reported that permit wanted tan crabs. He had tied some wool crabs that worked well.
