Experiment- Flat Heads

This is an experiment with making heads flat (thin) looking from the top or straight on. The fly is tied with Rooster Capes of white, side tyed on the bottom with different colors of capes on the top- Hy tied. Th collars are Hackle tips or bird feathers , The heads are shaped with sili Skin... then a light coat of epoxy, then hard as hull. The sili skin is sliped over the hook eye by cutting a small slit then molding into shape and triming.

cool

Is there anything you CAN'T use sili skin for?

The bottom one would make a great bluegill pattern for all you Largemouth junkies out there.
