Dark Winters Hope

This has been excellent in cold, dirty water



Hook: Alec Jackson 1.5(nickeled)
Tag: Embossed med silver
Tail: GP crest dyed red
Body: ˝ blue seal sub,˝ purple wool yarn
Rib: Medium oval silver
CounterRib: 2X mono
Hackle: Rear˝-kingfisher blue saddle;Front˝-dark purple marabou
Throat: Purple dyed guinea
Wing: Hot orange turkey
Head: Wine 12/0

Ya' gotta' love blue and purple flies, especially dee style one that are as well tied as this one. Ever try it wih a red or a blue wing instead of the hot orange?

Mangy fleas? Sure and I got some prime land for sale in the Everglades that would be a bargain for a flyfisher.
