Spots along North Shore to get 4 year old some schoolies

Didn't make it down to Salem yesterday, but I'm looking to take my four year old grandson down to get some schoolies. The last two days it's been "Pop - can you take me fishin' for those striped fish?".

Looking for a spot I can get him chucking a rapala or plastic from shore. A few spots I'm aware of, you have to definitely wade out - and I'm talking Lynn to Beverly area.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I want to get him some fish before sitting back and watching the Red Sox kick some Yankee arse!

Go Sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TL,

Dave

Some spots

Manchester harbor at Masconomo park is great. Fish from docks or the backside inlet. Have to be there last 2 hours of incoming or first 2 hours of out going.

Although I have been taking my 6 year old to Singing Beach & Magnolia harbor beach. Easy access. Just have him wear his thigh high rubber mud boots.
