Workin' on logos, stickers, hats, etc....

Been workin' away on paraphenalia...

from the overly ambitious... (oval window sticker)

[img]http://www.flyfishingforum.com/inwork/euro5.jpg" border="0"></center>

to the overly simplistic... (hat design)

<center><img src="http://www.flyfishingforum.com/inwork/forum1.jpg[/img]

this stuff is a lot harder than I first thought!

Anyway, I'll be posting them as asking for feedback.

One of my favorites... yet it won't go on a hat, too many colors for stickers, big for a button, maybe a coffee mug?

Juro,
You're quite the artist! Space on the rear window being reserved for a decal!
Put me down for a coffee mug, as well....
Happy New Year!!

For some reason I'm real partial to that mug design. I'd buy one for all my friends and family. I like the decal but the hat I don't know.

Juro, great job..you know I will be in for one of each, maybe more... Just a comment on the hat design.. I looks a little high tech, but I like the circle design... my sugestion is to have an embordered fish instead of the metalic ones... Also, keep the circular design since it would be unique as compared to the usual hat but I would have four fish that are recognizable in a circular pattern. one trout, one Striper, one salmon or steelhead, and one bonefish or tarpon. That would cover the bases and reflect the basic index of the 'Flytalk".

What? No Deep Eel on any of the logos?

Terry, you right .That would be good also. Forget the fish... put the deep sand eel in the center with the Forum language in the circular pattern.

First, great work!

I really like the top one (window decal), but I think it would be even nicer if you moved the script "flyfishing" and big "FORUM" words to the inside of the border (or eliminate all together - www.flyfishingforum.com says it all in my opinion, and neatens up the image, allowing for more of that very nice scene. Would make a great t-shirt as well!).

Hi All:
First of all happy new year!
With regards to the oval window sticker...
I really like the first one Juro posted, but like others, feel that it might look better still with a slight modification.

While I agree that the url says it all, IMNSHO it's still nice to see "Flyfishing Forum",as is, in larger letters somewhere.

I like the idea of moving "Flyfishing" slightly inside the oval frame (the font looks great). The large font "FORUM" could be removed and instead, placed with the same font as "Flyfishing" on the inside of the oval frame but at the bottom of the decal and concave up (opposite "Flyfishing").
The all important url would move slightly upwards to occupy the space vacated by "FORUM". Of course, this is just some tweaking on an already good design.

With a decal that sharp, my wife may, repeat may, let me put another sticker on the subaru... she was ok with the TU one, but the CCA stripah really pushed it. Juro - great stuff. I'd agree with the posts on the hat logo; seems too metallic. Count me in on the finished products!

Juro et al

Firstly, Happy New Year to you all. The logo's etc are superb and may be enhanced by some of the suggestions in the thread. However, if like me, you're not blessed with the 'artists eye' then seeing them is the only way.

Does that sound like a lame excuse to view more of Juro's artwork.....I hope so 'cos that's what it was intended to be!!! It doesn't matter to me if there are stickers, badges, hats etc just as long as I can buy some. They'll be displayed with pride on the lochs and reservoirs of central Scotland.....and beyond.

Tight Threads.

Phil
