Any Cape Reports?

Guess nobody's fishing. Is worth getting up at 2:30 - 3:00am to make the run to Chatham? High drop at the light then Stage inlet? Is the right Honorable going to be around?

See you at the shuttle. I'd like to try by the rocks at the light around high tide if I can get up early enough.

Fred -

Thanks for the heads up on the mung. Walked out anyway, and yes, it was solid as far as the eye could see.

We worked our tails off and finally hit the jackpot - cows in 20" of water pounding clouds of pea bunker into submission in a little corner flat. It's that time of year again!

Striblue

Am looking forward to meeting you and anyone else on Saturday morning at the ferry......I'll find it OK.

We've now decided not to detour to Delaware on Wednesday when we arrive but to drive straight up to CT/RI/ MA from Philly. This means I'll be unable to pick up my waders. Is there a tackle shop in Chatham where I could buy a pair of breathables? I'm gonna get a pair of bootless ones and bring my wading boots across from Scotland.

One last....I promise...........question, I'm bringing 15lb flurocarbon to use as tippet material and wondered if this was heavy enough?

Regards to all.

Phil, I would check with Nauset Anglers in Orleans. The Owner is Harry Koons and he has a banner on this site...You can check also with "Fishing The Cape" in Harwich at exit 11. This is an Orvis distributor, Bruce Zeller is the manager. The 15 is fine, you might also want to bring a 20 at this time of year....but 15 is perfect.
