Boneclave Boat Rollcall

So how about some boat names, type, size color. We may not see each other at the ramp so it would be nice to know who's in our group and be able to communicate with each other.

My boat is Zinga, 20' Hydra-Sports center console, White with Black lettering 115hp Johnson (white).

How about a VHF channel. We will also have a FRS onboard we'll be on Channel 7 on the FRS to talk to the shore crew when in range.

I don't have a name on the boat, the name is just to get me on the radiio.

Craig, channel 7 for FRS (those little walkie talkies)
I don't know what channel for VHF, Case can make the call. Hail on 16 then just goto the predetermined working channel.

The only reason I bring this up is so we can keep in touch.

Channel 16 is ONLY to establish communications, If we all agree, we can just stay on 68, no need to monitor 16 except to listen for distress calls. I have a scanner and will from time to time scan, but with a handheld rechargable I would rather just go to 68.
My boat, 18' CC, white Cobia, no name on the boat, but I use "Reel Fishy" as a handle. I know, I know, but I got spooked when SOMEONE said it was bad luck to change the name on a boat, I guess I'll just have to buy a new, BIGGER one!

I have an old white 18ft Sea Ox Dual Console with faded blue bottom paint. Should have a couple of young boys bouncing around on it as well. Looks like I'll be arriving Saturday AM instead of Friday. I will be listening in on 68 as CASE suggested, just hail GregD or call on the cell. Looking forward to seeing you on the water.

Greg.

12' white, grey and muck-colored tin boat with 3 hp Evinrude. No name on boat (although "Sieve" or "Collander" might be appropriate :hehe: ).

Please try not to swamp my boat when you throttle up at the end of the no wake zone or the outlet of the breachway
