South Beach Report- Aug 15

Doc, JFBasser , Dave Pearson and I headed out this morning... Doc came with me and Basser and Pearson split off. Saw a number of large fish.. I brought a 7 wt. for the fun of it and we did not get any big fish but hit a spot with none stop schoolie action for a good 45 minutes.... sight casting into them and they even stuck around while there buddies were being caught. Back tomorrow...hope it's overcast though... the tide will start incoming about 11 ....may try the Ocean side first.

Sorry John. Won't be on the boat tomorrow. Got in late from our employee picnic and will be worthless if I leave Mystic at 5am. Brought some kids to a theme park and I'm beat!!!!

No need to site fish where I am at...you can... but fish seem less spooked with no sun...just my opinion at the spot.
