Cool Joppa report (remember reports?)

Guys - fished with NESFR last night.
Joppa bugs are undiscerning biters, the cows however are not.

only 2 fish hooked, 1 boated - both by my Galway Gal!

The first hit came after the flats flooded and the fish were fresh on - she was BIG and Lor's inexperience showed as the line went slack shortly after coming tight. The fish rolled and winked at us - her head was as big as my hat and and eyes the size of a quarter. Expletives followed from Lor.

We set up for "One Last Drift" and our efforts were rewarded shortly after - a nice healthy 37" came to the boat by Lor's hand for proper documentation and was returned promptly.

The ride back to Cashman's was very pleasant.

Awesome Lorraine! Showing that yank of yours how to hook them.

Did you guys try the Ray's fly at all?

Thumbs up

37" is sweet. Way to go Lor.

Now for the important stuff: did you have a chance to stop at Mike's for Chowda and refreshments?

Lefty - my Ray's flies were uneffective as tied...Lor's first hook up was on a flat wing of mine. I was awed to see the cow that took it.

Dave - time did not permit a refreshment stop but it was on my mind for sure!

Wow, that's a heck of a fish Lor! Sounds like some really good fish in the Joppa area for boaters this year. CONGRATS!
