Attack of the "Clones"

Thought I'd try a couple of Bob Pop's siliclones, using thick Soft Body instead of silicone and photo-flo. Both are tied on size 2 Owner Mutu Light circles.

The one pictured below is "full-dress"...
Polar fiber is tied in 360 around shank near bend.
Pearl Midge flash tied in 360 on top of that.
One more layer of PF around the shank.
Six saddles (thanks Boarmountain) with part of the "fluff" remaining, in lavender, tied in 360 around the shank.
Polar Plus Fiber tied in as directed in Pop Fleyes , then trimmed down to the head shape of the mullet this imitates.
Head coated with thick Soft Body, then eyes placed.
Overall length of this fly is around 7".

This one uses no hackles, only Polar Fiber, Midge Flash, and Polar Plus Fiber. Tie and finish as above sans feathers...
This one is about 3" total length.
