Good 'un!

Yeah, I agree. In fact, most of the nymphs I tie now include a bit of flashabou (green or pearl) for the wingcase. Seems to add a little glitter so they look like they are moving a little, and fish hit 'em hard! The color sounds interesting - I'll give it a try.

I've been doing this for scuds/shrimps and it works just as well as without. I also do the spot trick on a few dries, hoppers and caddis mostly. Works better than without spots on dries.
