st. croix avid series?

Anyone have anything to say about this rod? They are so reasonable, I was thinking about getting one. The 3-wt, specifically. thanks!

For the money, the Avids are fine rods.

I am NOT a fan of St. Croix but on the Avid line I agree with Eddie, for the money this is a good rod (at least the 4wt. I tried last year was nice). Not sweet, but good.

mmm

Moderate action, good for light lines, IMO. I love St. Croix rods, have built a couple of them, and own two more that are factory rods. No complaints.

Thanks! Looks like I'll be getting a new brook trout rod.
