Something a little different

Here is a herring pattern I came up with. It has a flatwing tail for action, and a standard featherwing for shape and "fullness".
Any comments?

Something a little different...

Looks good!

Unfortunately either the monitor doesn't fully do it justice or I really do need to have my eyes checked...the wing was not distinct enough in the picture for me to differentiate the tying style from the tail. Can you talk me through it?

I think it should be shown as quickly as possible to as many stripers as you can...for research purposes, you know.

Best regards,

-Doc

Doc, the tail is 2 white saddles tied flatwing style. The wing is 2 blue saddles tied in at the head like you would for a freshwater streamer like a black ghost or grey ghost. They are tied "on edge" instead of flat.
