First Trip

Went fishing today...
Caught nothing...
Fell through the pack ice walking along the river...
Got waders filled with ice water...
Toes went numb...

Had a great time... :hehe:

Sounds like fun and a great time!

Anything on the steelies yet? I think the warmer weather will melt some of this @!$#*&^# snow so maybe the run will start in force. Something about the first trip of the year that makes it all worth while!

Arrow Ice out

I only seen one steelie hooked today (not by me)

I was just 2 miles up-stream from Lake Erie fishing on the Conneaut River.

There's a lot of mini-icebergs on the water still and the temperature reached 62 degrees.

The Ice was mostly off the river... plenty of flowing water.
I fell through the pack ice that was over the river banks.
