Saltwater Fly Swap

I will post a status report tonight on Both swaps and hope to mail out by this weekend.. I know that Doogue had to drop out of the Shrimp swap and I am still waiting for Shad freak and Dave Fix. I will check the flat wing mailings I have and will post a list of what I have and what I am waiting for.... One way or another we are almost there... and the flies will go out soon.

John - can't wait to see all those shrimp patterns!

I was planning on bringing my Flatwings along to the Wilmington Show / Casting clave. March 15/16 is about as Mid-March as I can get.

Talking of Wilmington ...

Rich... You did NOT miss the third swap... it has not officially started yet until all the flies from swap 2..the shrimp... are mailed out..by this weekend.. so no problem... The third and final swap for this winter will be the "original " fly swap... technique copying is ok..but no copying of other flys... this should be as original as the participants can do and be considered their own design...

Great - that means I can get on that one too. It sure feels like this winter will last long enough for at least one more swap

This will give me a chance to refine my awacs/PB hatching crab design

Straggler...

John,
I was not sure if we were going to hook up for lunch this week so I just went ahead and put them in the mail tonight. I sent them Priority from Providence so hopefully they will get there by Friday. If they don't feel free to proceed without them. Sorry for the delay.

Sean

P.S. I did not have my check book on me so I will settle up with you for the shipping costs at the clave.

Lunch

John,
I am sorry but I am going to have to postpone lunch again. I am going to be out all next week for training so I have some things I need to finish up before then. We'll get to do this eventually.
