The following have committed to the Rip Trip on Saturday August 25th, known as Rip Trip III. Do not confuse this with Rip Trip II, which will be held on Friday August 25th (the day before).
Read the other posts to see the details on Rip Trips and confirm with Keith of Rip Ryder (www.monomoyislandferry.com) before leaving for Chatham unless you check the board for last minute announcements. The only sure way is to check with Keith.
Briefly, be at the Morris Island Rd. causeway in Chatham by 6:30 am on Sat. 8/26/00 with $25 in hand. Bring what you need to spend a day on a primitive and beautiful island refuge... water, sunblock, light colthing layers, sunglasses, food, etc. The boat picks up around 4:30 pm on the return run.
Flies should include large sand eels, pogies, and squid. Bright attrator patterns seemed to work well in the fast tide rip. The fish are big, fat and bright and fight like the dickens. Good luck!

thanks,
Juro
