Adrian (who is having fun in the sun) came up with a very innovative crab hatch pattern I've been curious to see applied to the situation you describe. Might come up in searches... but I am sure he'll reply when he returns.
Roop - Crab larvae, called zoea (if I recall correctly), are very similar in appearance to small, clear shrimp with an extended rostrum (the spine sticking out of the shrimp's head).
Roopster - A la Adrian, I tied up some smallish, shrimp-like flies on size 4 tinned eagle claw hooks. Have not fished them, but they seem like they may be the ticket. I'll send a couple over your way if you'd like... TD
Tod- you should stop by for a beer and we can make some plans - I'll be wrapping up the wiring this weekend.
