My father found these Rapala 8 1/2" ProGuide Fishing Pliers at Walmart this weekend, in case anyone might be interested. For $15 I really don't think that you can beat them. I threw my phone in the picture for scale purposes. They are spring loaded, all stainless steel and have really nice textured rubber grips.

Wish I had those the first time I caught a 'cuda on the flats... thigh deep in a deep trough with a cuda circling around me, I'm thinking "now what?". I took a chance with my Sage RPL and reeled it to the fly, using the tip as a hook out! One thrash right then and it would have been a short trip to the keys, or at least an expensive one. Definitely a good day to be barbless.
