A LARGE bucktail!!

Hi friends, here´s one of my favourite bucktails, its really large and work really great for big trout. I guess it may work for steelhead too. Never tried.
Its very light and, in a few ocassion, trout took it on top, yes...like a dry!

I called it "pajarito" (little bird)...crazy name for a fly tied with hairs......

Hook: Mustad 3665A #2
Thread: Black monocord 3/0
Tail: white bucktai, long.
Body: Rainbow flashabou (wrapped).
Third wing: yellow bucktail (as long as the tail)
Second wing: Orange over yellow bucktail.
Main wing: Black over orange bucktail.
Beard: White bucktail (beyond the hook)
Eyes: Painted.

Beautiful work! I really like that fly. But I think you chose the wrong board to post it on, you need the tying board. Do you fillet this or cook it whole? How many portions do you get out of each fly? And what would make a nice side dish with it? Just kidding, it sure is a great looking streamer.
Slinger PS I may have to change the hook and try this in the salt!
