I'm considering a new reel purchase, and I've read all the glowing reports from last year; I'm just curious if anyone has had to revise their opinion of the reel since then.
I've been using the #7 for a spey reel, v-e-r-y nice and handled a bright summer fish very well recently. I am going to use it for my two-handed experimentation in the weeks to come so I will report on it again soon after a few cows and some slammer blues in big beach and rip scenarios. That should be an adequate test for durability and drag!
