Could you share the details on your flies. I think that's part of the purpose here...to enlighten the rest of us. You clearly have been putting a lot of effort and creativity into your flatwings, and I hope you will continue to be willing to share, as you haave so generously in the past.
Man, we gotta get together and swap some notes on these things! Somerset is bad Friday, good all day Saturday and all afternoon Sunday. If Friday is the only thing you can do though, say when and I'll skip work.
Juro, yea ,pretty much. The difference is in the # of feathers in the tail(this has 7) and a bucktail collar instead of marabou. Also there is a support feather(a neck hackle tied curve side up) tied in first, before the layering of saddles.
