I have a Cobia 184 with a 115 Yamaha, it's a heavy boat so the tabs don't make much difference. I also installed an onboard charger which works great. I get about 6 hrs out of a charge so battery capacity is no problem. At first, it took a while to realize that you don't want to "drive" the boat with them but just correct drift. Stealth is a beautiful thing on the flats, and these things are quiet.
I just got my first copy of Shallow Water Angler, and now will start looking into a tower, if you haven't seen the towers for small boats, check it out, in conjunction with the Trollin Tabs the flats fishin will be a blast.
Eddie, 2- 12 volt batteries for the tabs, connected to the charger and the 1-12v for the engine!
