I recall someone on here having a nice setup to hang rods inside a Jeep? I'm looking for something to hang 4 or so fly rods from the ceiling so they aren't getting in the way inside an SUV. Does anyone have a good suggestion?
I don't think my 4dr wrangler has 9ft of horizontal clearance so I lay the reels down in the back and the tips rest of the visors nicely. Outside racks for 4x4 on the beach are homemade similar to the sumo's which are pricey but amazing.
I second the Rod Loft Pro. I have been using this system in my Nissan Xterra for a number of years and have been totally satisfied.
I carry my fly rods fully rigged, including the fly, but break them in half so I don't have the tips hanging overhead in the front seat. When I need a rod I just pull out the two sections and rejoin them. Just my preference, but it has worked well for me.
