I hope Dickens will pardon the plagerism.
It was the best of times, pre dawn yesterday morning, acres of pogies on the surface and the promise of great things to come.

It was the worst of times. 11:00, being towed back to the ramp with a blown motor, just after Ray and I had gotten into a good bite. Thank God for SeaTow!

Bad News Steve, marine repair places are notoriously slow to fix things. Hope you have a alternate plan. I see Basser is planning on kidnapping you to the Canal. :hihi: that should keep you busy for a day or two.
Crap that sucks , at least you got back safe and sound. Maybe you can hire seatow to drag you around for a week or so. Looks like they got you moving at a pretty good clip
Not sure if rock hopping at night is your gig but you are welcome to join me. Hey I might even join you and the basser one day on the ole canal.
Hey Steve I sure hope we didn't wear out your motor cruising around trying to find us fish the other day!
I don't know whether you'd be up for the long haul but if you get the urge to hunt stripers [or largemouth] in Maine this week, give me a call.
Might be fun to get the ol' stripping basket and waders back out again. Sorry about the news Steve. Give me a holler if you're back at it wading. You can show me some spots to fish up your way. No more weddings until September so I'm free Fridays and Saturdays for the next 10 weeks!
