This fly is easy, tied quick and dirty. All of them took only about 20 minutes to tie on a rotary vise. The black color is good day or night, and it will catch many species of fresh and saltwater fish. You could tie some flash in at the tail, but then that wouldn’t be keeping it simple, would it?
Got lots of Blonds a classic simple fly that still works for many species, makes you wonder why we need and buy all of these new fly tying materials doesn't it ?
Just glad my wife and sons know nothing at all about fly tying materials and flys etc..
