I once had a little 6' W.W. Griggs 3 wt. Not a bad little rod, especially in light of the fact that it only cost me $29.95. It cast fine. I can't comment on how long they will last, as I didn't keep that rod very long. Griggs rods are made in Korea. For some reason they are really a lot cheaper than even other Korean or Asian built rods, but somehow manage to have a "lifetime warranty." The quality was decent, though nothing to get excited about. I'd say for a starter or backup rod, they are just fine (limited use), but would look elsewhere if serious about fly fishing and doing it for life.
