Well the boat should make significant status improvement today. The bottom is being mounted this afternoon.
I hope to have the sides on tomorrow afternoon.

The sides have been on our boat for a while and the bottom went on this weekend. After a bit of fairing I will be applying the fiberglass. Progress seems to be in spurts but having the bottom on is huge!
It is a LaPazz 22 extended to 24. Designed by Ken Hakinson.
It will have an 8 1/2 foot beam, I/O alpha 1 gen 2 engine with about 180 - 200 hp at the prop, 100+ gal total feul tanks, and will weigh in at roughly 3,000 lbs.
The boat is moving along and looks great.
How long before you begin fibreglassing?
I just flipped the box keelbox and will be adding sides shortly.

I am in the midst of final fairing - a very detail intensive job. I'm hoping to put the first coat of epoxy on on Saturday and if I'm lucky the fiberglass as well.
It is different. This is baseline construction where the bottom is made then is made then a box like frame is added then the sole. The boat is self bailing with the sole above the waterline.
Everything is built off this base- sides quarter seats and, my favorite, casting deck. It is very straightforward construction.
