Been working on Pollock for the rock wash, for Nahant, Rockport, Gloucester. Top one used long Polar Fiber and
brown hackle. Bottom guy uses short polar fiber for belly and greens and greys of bucktail.

ps. To Admin: Sorry to bust the suggested 20Kbyte pix size but I figured 3 pertanant images in one adds up to pretty close.

Beautiful stuff! I remember a day on the Gloucester jetty when the 6-10 inch pollock were run onto the rocks by bass. Most scurried into the spaces between the rocks, but I remember looking at a petrified pollock flopping around. It had a sort of goldish grey brown look with round body profile like a remora or a young cod. I've caught huge ones on charter boats but these were only juveniles in comparison to the ones off shore.

If you don't mind I'm going to ask admin to move these to the striper fly archive.
