John D - see Bill's original link in the steelhead thread for all the links.

Striblue - I have a lot of hours on the Snoqualmie and am glad it is being considered at this scale. I also have a lot of time on the East Fork of the Lewis and it's a fragile river without a lot of ability to deal with industrial abuses. You'd love the river, it's not a big river but produced the state record summer run steelhead - 36 pounds!

The Merrimac is so far gone in terms of it's anadromous species, it should be on there too. The Connecticut River too - which is seriously polluted downriver and dammed up in it's mid and upper stretches. The rivers of Maine, although recently relieved of one dam, need help. It's really sad to think that we once had one of the greatest atlantic salmon fisheries right here in New England, and it's now all but extinct.
