Here are two examples of The Popovics "tandem" surf candies, obviously intended to resemble two "schooling" sand eels. I tied these last year and brought them back from the Cape intending to tye some like this but as silversides.
I have two questions for you John. Is that a Mustad Keel hook they are tied on ( I can't remember the #)? And how are the hooks for hooking and fighting fish? I'm curious because somewhere I have some Rays flys tied on those hooks that I 've never gotten around to trying.
Thanks John, I want to try this pattern sized like DblHauls grooving (or is it curmudgeon) mini candies.
