Blues were busting about 100' off the Great pond jetty this morning. Small schools were still erupting here and there when I left at 8:30. I couldn't get more than a 40' cast straight out before it blew to the left. That wind was cranking 20+ when I left. Little pond if chock full of bait so a dumping tide may provide a mid-day blitz for anyone who can get down there.
BTW - that big blitx off Nauset you saw was slammer blues on pogies according to Capt. Todd Murphy who had his way with them, or should I say they had their way with him. Big pogies. Probably some big bass in the vicinity too.
