Experimental pattern - "PB"

Here's the experimental pattern I was planning on putting into the swap. For warmwater it comes out as a floating spider - the body is a pad of close cell foam attached with nylon mesh booby-style. Then a hackle is wound Parachute style aroung the hose securing wraps. I used mallard flank on this one.

Hence the name - "PB".

With some variation in color and proportions I'm thinking this might also work in the salt when stripers are slurping hatching crabs.

A bit more work to do yet but getting close;)

Bring on the summer!

Cool pattern

Looks like the local water skippers we have here in Ohio...

Meat is meat to a fish, if it can get it's mouth over it, it'll probably try to eat it.

It looks right too, it looks "BUGGY".
And that's a good thing.

In my opinion, the uglier it looks, the better it works.
"There are very few cute bugs in nature", we must remember this to tie effective patterns.

Your 'test patterns' will serve you well.
