Anne and I went out on one of the larger impoundments of the Housatonic River system....what an absolutely beautiful day it was out there. We didn't get any quality fish, but we got good numbers. Sunfish, perch, and crappie were all very willing to give us some action.
The pollen in the water gave everything a green sheen. Bright colors outperformed drab colors about five to one.
There won't be too many more warm days like this to enjoy on the weekends. We've both very thankful to have been out there today and take it all in.
Something tells me I should return in October when the pike start fattening up for winter.
