We have a great list of donated raffle items from members and sponsors in the Public Market Raffle and Auction area. Now that it's spring in the northern hemisphere, it would be great to draw the winners before the good weather draws us out into the wilds for the season.

So, let's crank up the raffles for the last time this pre-season and try to draw as many winning tickets as possible at the next few events.

Let's get the rest of the membership donations in so we can figure out what we'll have to work with this year.

I will set up the on-line ordering system if that helps.
You can always send a check to:

Flyfishing Forum
PO Box 58
Groton MA 01450

Indicate which raffles you want to bid on, of course.

On-line raffle or auction purchases can be done today using PayPal, but I will also hook up a shopping page as well.

This effort will conclude the fund-raising for 2001, but membership donations will be gladly accepted throughout the year. Join in on some events and if you have fun, donate then - no need to make a decision on that now.

Once the fund-raising is done it'll be time for hell-raising, at least as far as chasin' gamefish in the world's best destinations is concerned.

Once again, 100% of the funds raised in 2001 will be used for covering site costs and needed upgrades, member rewards like lines for articles published, and with what's left over we will acquire some top name equipment (rods, reels) to start the demo program we talked about a while back where any member can field test the equipment we obtain.

Once we get all the memberships and raffles drawn we will see just what can be done this year. At this point there is not enough to support an aggresive demo equipment program but with this final drive we should know what we have to work with.

A hearfelt thank you to all who have contributed so far.
