Juro, I had a streamer on with wire, looking for some big barracuda. This shark came along and I cast at him for the heck of it, and he was real aggressive chasing the streamer down. Got him in to shore after a 5 minute battle.

I don't usually go after sharks and hadn't caught one in several years, but it was fun. I normally stay away from them because it is usually inevitable that when you are fighting one, a nice bone will come along and you will have wasted a good shot at the bone.

they are tricky to handle. grab behind head and also tail--very strong trying to twist out.

if you grab only by tail they will be able to bite your arm/hand--they can curl around like a snake.
