Coast Range Ramblings

It was the morning Sun
That I sought
And Januarys Snow

So lost I was
In frozen bliss
A trail before me lies

To catch a glimpse
Of Winters coat
So gracefull on the ground

Before it melts
To feed the Streams
Where Springs prizes await

And footprints of others
Residents all
Reorded their passing
In white

But only one
Skinny Cyote
Crossed my way

And in his tired gait
Ran not
Or even gave me a second look
Food being his distant memory

So as the Sun
Rose to it's zenith
This path I strode
Finished at the Rivers edge

And fitting it was
To find myself there
At the rise
Of another season.....

Went up into the Coast Range this morning for a little snowshoe action, need I say more....

So begins another year, and Happy Greetings to all. Cast your lines boys, and watch for the rise!
