Eric is a Deschutes River guide and long time friend. He's the author of one of the first Flyfishing Forum articles "The notion of steelhead" (in the Chronicles section), also written articles for the former WSAS magazine, etc. He brings a unique perspective and deeply rooted knowledge and passion for steelheading in the Deschutes and other rivers of the region.
Please welcome Eric to the steelhead Moderator team!

Welcome Eric, good to have you as moderator.
I am a reg on the D for Trout in the off season, Your article was one that drew me to the "Quality" of information and people here on the forum!
Many thanks to you all for the gracious welcome. I hope I can, with the help of Andre and North Fork (not to mention Juro), live up to my august responsibilites.
Can anyone give a list of what these august responsibilites might be? Are there guidelines for pulling the plug on someone? that sort of thing.
