Guided trip with capt. Larry Cook out of Quincy on his 22 ft. Hydrasports.

Great day, no wind, lots of sun. Just out of quincy we got into our first topside action frenzy, on small bait too.

Off to Bumpkin Island to fish among the top-of-the-tide boulder fields...Nothing quite like seeing a striper materialize out of those huge rocks to rush a deceiver.

The mouth of Boston Harbor had sporadic bird activity and unconcentrated striper action by the time we got there. Some other boaters mentioned that the action was widespread and intense near daybreak.

Tried the rocks around Boston light with no luck, back to the rocks around Weymouth for a couple of fish before the wind kicked up and blew in all of that crappy weekend weather.

Great trip, going again on Wednesday.
