originally tied for the snoqualmie for fishing a favorite pool that has just the right current and bottom structure for a spey fly. Adapted from the black dog into a crossover pattern without the complex wing, this was the result.
I have the pleasure of having a couple of Brian's flies sitting on my desk and I will tell you, they look even better in person!
...and not only is Brian a Hell of a tier but he is a great caster as well.
BTW-An ironic note of sorts...we have two Brian's (they both spell their name B-r-i-a-n) on Flytalk (Doublespey and highlander2), both of which drive the exact same model, exact same color pickup. Plus both are great Speycasters! WEIRD!!....play The Twilight Zone theme music
Cool! What can be added but, dittos! A fine dressing!
Happy Trails!
Ronn
BTW, Igor, you're in for it!!!! :hehe:
