I am considering buying a Teeny T-200 and a T-400 or the TS 250 and 450 for a trip to East Cape, north of Cabo, Mexico for saltwater flyfishing. Any comments on the relative merits of the T series vs the TS series of lines? Is one easier to cast than the other? The lighter line is for onshore and the heavier for offshore. Thanks for the input!
I first used a T300 but later bought whatever XT was closest to it. I found the XT easier to cast simply because the extra length slowed things down just a bit: the T300 loaded the rod very quickly. The TS seems to be somewhere between these two.
