Spent a couple of hours flogging, at the turn and top of the outgoing. Nothing to shaow for it. Pleasant and little wind when not raining. Water was strangly high for this time of the tide cycle. Lots of chunky silversides and jellyfish flowing (didn't see any of those long pink worms JF) out but no stripaz. Shoulda stuck it out awhile more but needed a cup of coffee so here I am.
The weather is wreaking havoc with the early season. After a pretty fair day on Fri I only had one fish yesterday, although a good one, and the 2 I got today if you put them nose to tail might have made 14".
Where do these tiny bass come from? I can't imagine they swim all the way up from down south.

I agree on the tiny bass Steve. I picked one up in the bathtub a couple of years back that would struggle to make 10 inches - hard to believe he made it all the way from the Hudson or Chesapeake.
p.s. the weather doesn't surprise me at all. This past few season we've had a seven day cycle of high winds from the wrong direction just about every week-end beginning in May and alsting through June. We did get a warm April this year - I just hope we don't end up paying for it later ....
