I was wondering if anyone has done this yet and if it is worth it on some of the outer Islands of the bahamas. Seems like you could access some of the harder to get at flats. I saw a photo somewhere of a guy using one. I think the wind would keep you from fishing out of it but may be good for transportation.

I've used my bucks bag out on northeastern flats around Cape Cod, although not bonefish country the flats are abundant. I've been toying with the idea of getting a big pontoon rig after using kayaks and being left a little unsatisfied. Wind is definitely an issue. Another is that the materials are typically not made for saltwater use.

They should adapt the paddleboat concept to a lowrider flats pontoon boat to leave both hands free.
