... came back in off the water, no luck, but fell down twice to keep things lively. One strike on that new dragon/damselfly nymph I've been working on. Going to make some dinner (Mexican tonight, I think), sit down at the vise with a Guinness and listen to Garrison Keillor on NPR, dogs at my feet. Sometimes it's nice to have some time to yourself (the wife's away visiting her parents).
When my wife happens to be away on business, I find myself spending my evenings either fishing or tying (depending on the season). Either way, the evening always involves some sushi and a cold beer, both of which Anne dislikes.
My boxes are pretty full, so I guess I'll have to start turning my attention to fishing.
... and eating left over burritos for breakfast is just one more verification that the wife's away... I feel like I'm back in college.:eyecrazy:
