This is an Up-Wing Alert!
Fishflies ( Family Corydalidae ) Have been reported living under submerged objects in Healthy streams and rivers! The Aquatic Larva are carnivorous, feeding on other small aquatic life!
Caution should be aportioned to pets and small children!
These " Chauliodes" in there adult stage are 3/4 to 1" long with ash grey bodies and wings!
They have been sited along the banks of streams and rivers throughout N. America!

THEY HAVE NO TAIL FILLAMENTS!

These Fishflies are reported to be enjoying some fame as a food source for some N. American gamefish.
If encountered, proceed with caution, and study carefully!

THEY ARE ALL AROUND US!
