The ever-versatile TMC 200R

Don't know if you might agree but I find the Tiemco 200R to be one of the most useful hooks on the market. It serves well for trout nypmhs, emergers, streamers, steelhead caddis spiders, even skaters and wakers. It has that dropped bend reminiscent of a barleet-style hook (kinda sorta). I'd wager that if it came in S/S it would be a great hook for silversides and upright sand eel patterns (I caught a very nice hooknose coho on a sparse candlefish pattern on a 200R once, although the hook disintegrated from the supersalty Juan de Fuca straits water).

Another is the muddler hook 5263BL barbless with the bent down eye. I use it to tie everything from New England style (ghost) streamers to muddlers to caddis for fall steelhead. Here's one of my favorite applications...
