What the report from Cheesman? Anyone fished it after the fire? Is it worth the drive or should I find another option?
When you hike deep into the canyon do you still see evidence of the fire????
How's the water levels??
THX!!!!

FlyDry, how did you find this board? As far as I can tell none of these guys are from CO. For Colorado reports you are better off checking the flyshop boards. To answer your question, Cheesman survived the fire but got hit hard from a flash flood not long ago. Poor visibility and low water make for less than great fishing. I would hike to the dam if I were to go. Where do you live? The colorado is fishing great.

Brad, Thanks for the info.
I got on this board looking for info on Idaho and the S. Fork of the Snake. I saw a couple of people from CO, so I thought I would ask about one of my former favorite spots, Cheesman.
I live in the mnts, so generally I don't fish crowded places like Cheesman, but it is, or was one of the best fisheries I have ever seen!
Thanks again!
